The Event: “Pack at the Park”
“Pack at the Park” is an annual event held by FMSC, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger worldwide. Volunteers gather at Target Field, transforming the upper concourse into a bustling hub of activity and compassion. Together, the volunteers pack meals that will be shipped to starving children in over 70 countries.
Our Team’s Experience
On the day of the event, our team arrived energized and ready to make an impact! Each of us donned our hairnets and gloves, and after a brief orientation, we were stationed at our packing tables. The process was simple yet profoundly meaningful: measure ingredients, seal bags, box meals, and repeat.
Throughout the afternoon, laughter and camaraderie filled the air. It was heartwarming to see our colleagues working together, supporting each other, and sharing stories. We were inspired not only by the scale of the event but also by the dedication and enthusiasm of the other volunteers. It was a powerful reminder that when we come together for a common cause, we can achieve remarkable things.
