After 35 years at Washington Square, Schechter Dokken Kanter (SDK) is preparing for an exciting new chapter. As of February 1, 2026, our firm will relocate to SPS Tower, located at 333 South Seventh Street, Suite 3000, Minneapolis, MN 55402.

Our time at Washington Square has been foundational to who we are today. It’s where SDK grew, evolved, and built lasting relationships with clients and the Twin Cities community. As the firm continues to expand, however, the need for a space that better supports our people, our clients, and the way we work today became clear.

“After 35 years in Washington Square, the decision to move was driven by our continued growth and commitment to serving our clients, our people, and our community,” said Managing Partner John Lawson. “SPS Tower represents the next chapter for SDK, offering a modern, centrally located space that reflects who we are today and where we’re heading.”

“This move allows us to enhance the client experience, support flexible ways of working, and provide an energizing environment for our team as we continue to grow, innovate and serve clients,” Lawson added.

While our address is changing, our commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality professional services remains the same. We’re proud of our history at Washington Square and energized by what’s ahead as we step into this next phase at SPS Tower.

We look forward to welcoming clients and partners to our new space in 2026 and sharing more updates as the move approaches.
