SDK Promotes Jennifer Stavish to Shareholder

Jennifer Stavish, CPA, MBT, is the Newest Shareholder in SDK’s Tax Department

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., January 27, 2022 — Schechter Dokken Kanter (SDK), CPAs and Business Advisors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Stavish, CPA, MBT, to Shareholder. Effective January 1, 2022, Ms. Stavish assumed her new role within the firm’s tax department.

“I’m excited to take on my new role and to continue to grow and develop SDK as a firm,” said Stavish. “We have such a talented group of people that I get to work with each day. It is truly an honor to be part of the leadership within SDK.”

After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2001, Stavish joined SDK in the accounting services department. After obtaining her MBT from the University of Minnesota she transferred to the tax department where she has become a key member of the team.

Ms. Stavish is involved with small and mid-sized businesses and not for profit organizations in a variety of industries. When not working with clients on tax planning and other issues, Stavish assists business clients in improving their accounting processes and has served onsite as a controller for clients. She enjoys working closely with clients to provide those “Ah ha” moments. In her time away from the office, Stavish enjoys spoiling her nieces, spending time with family, supporting Minnesota teams and attending any country concerts that make their way to the Twin Cities.
