SDK Volunteers at Feed My Starving Children’s “Pack at the Park”
At SDK, giving back to the communities where we live and work is part of who we are. This year, our team once again had the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children’s (FMSC) annual “Pack at the Park” event.
Held at Target Field, “Pack at the Park” brings together hundreds of volunteers with one common goal: packing nutritious meals that will be shipped to children facing hunger around the world. The event transforms the ballpark into one of the largest mobile meal-packing sites in the country, where individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations work side by side to fight childhood hunger.
Our SDK volunteers spent the afternoon measuring ingredients, sealing meal bags, boxing completed meals, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. While the work moved quickly, the purpose behind every meal packed served as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together to serve others.
Community involvement has always been a cornerstone of SDK’s culture. Whether it’s volunteering our time, serving on nonprofit boards, or supporting organizations that make a difference, we believe our responsibility extends beyond helping clients achieve their financial goals. We are committed to making a positive impact in our communities whenever we have the opportunity.
We’re grateful to Feed My Starving Children for organizing another incredible event and to every SDK team member who volunteered their time and energy. Together, we helped provide hope, one meal at a time.
We look forward to participating again next year and continuing our tradition of serving our community together.
